New alliances cements Boardroomradio’s position as a leading provider of webcasting services and distribution in Australia.

Australian corporate broadcaster Boardroomradio today announced it has signed two major distribution agreements which will cement the company’s position as one of the most ubiquitous sources of investor information on Australian listed companies.

One the eve of its one year anniversary, the fast-growing investor relations broadcaster today confirmed that Australia’s largest retail stockbroker - CommSec – as well as the largest US electronic stock market - Nasdaq – will carry Boardoomradio broadcasts of Australian company news.

The two new partners join Boardroomradio’s already impressive network of distribution partners, further demonstrating the growing demand for better investor communications. The move also propels Boardoomradio and its company clients into the vast US investor market, at a time when offshore investors are showing increasing interest in Australian stocks. The 2005 AT Kearney Foreign Direct Investment Confidence Index shows that over the two years to 2005, Australia jumped from being the 19th to the 8th most attractive destination in the world for foreign direct investment.

CommSec will carry Boardroomradio content as an addition to its already extensive list of tools for investors. Clients will have access to live and on demand company broadcasts including AGMs, executive commentary on results, regular updates and announcements. In return, Boardroomradio’s ASX listed clients will enjoy the opportunity to have their important company news and announcements broadcast through the largest retail share trading platform in the country.

Nasdaq is the largest US electronic stock market and trades on average more shares than any other US market. This is a significant addition to the Boardroomradio partner network and an important stepping stone for Australian listed companies seeking investors in international markets. As with CommSec, Nasdaq will host company broadcasts, allowing Boardroomradio clients to have their story heard by international investors.

Boardroomradio signed its first offshore partner in August when it signed up with Minesite.com, Europe’s leading website for junior to mid-tier mining and exploration companies.. The company intends to continue signing up offshore partners to broaden access to offshore investors.
Boardroomradio co-founder John Murray said: “These new alliances are a crucial step for Boardroomradio. Having our content carried on Australia’s largest retail stockbroking site and the largest electronic market in the United States really demonstrates the unparalleled reach we provide to our clients – offering them potential investors not only in Australia but also on an international scale”.

Managing Director of Boardroomradio, Bill Gair said the alliances further validated the strategy of Boardroomradio to provide investors with better access to company information. “We have founded this company on the belief that Australian retail share investors should have access to the same level of information is the big players,” he said.

“We have found that our proposition has resonated strongly across all aspects of the market. We have hosted broadcasts from more than 300 different ASX listed companies, attract increasingly large numbers of listeners and have our content carried on more than 20 different websites.”

Boardroomradio provides a cost effective and efficient alternative for shareholder communications while the distribution partnerships offer companies an unparalleled opportunity to reach potential investors through a host of online platforms.

In addition to providing regular company news and information broadcasts to investors, both CommSec and Nasdaq will carry the comprehensive calendar of company reporting dates developed by Boardroomradio offering reliable and accessible information on upcoming AGMs, reporting dates and dividend payments.
