BRR Today Boardroom Radio speaks with the Managing Director of Mosaic Oil, Mr. Lan Nguyen, on the Full Year Results for 2008. Welcome to Boardroom Radio, Lan.

10 MOS Thanks.

BRR Lan, Mosaic Oil has just announced another record financial performance, and it all received more good news for shareholders.

MOS Yes, we’ve had another very good year. Earlier today, we announced a

15 record net profit after tax of $4.1 million for the year ended 30th of June 2008. This is an increase of 50% on last year’s result then was based on a solid operational performance and strong demand for the company’s production. Our revenue increased to 52% to a record level of $28.4 million dollars. Increased revenue were a result of higher price for oil, higher LPG production

20 and price, and revenue of $7 million received from CS Energy to assist with the funding of the drilling two wells.

BRR And Lan, how does this position the company for 2009?

MOS Yes, with a successful 2008 drilling campaign underway and our anticipated

25 increasing production levels, I am confident that Mosaic Oil is set to deliver a strong financial and operational performance for shareholders in 2009 financial year as well. The second half of the year ended June 30th 2008 was particularly strong with revenue of $19 million compared to $9.4 million for the first half of the year. So, we think this is a good sign for the year ahead, in

30 fact, we think the campaign is on track to achieve an increased revenue target for other activities of $30 to $34 million for financial year 2009 compared $21.7 million in financial year 2008.

BRR And finally Lan, what about the company’s production levels for the year?

35 MOS In the Surat-Bowen Basin, Mosaic Oil’s production was steady at over 400,000 barrels of oil equivalent in 2008 financial year. The standout performance for us was Silver Springs, Waggamba area where the net production increased some 11% to become the largest contributor to productions and profitability for Mosaic Oil for the 2008 financial year and, in

40 fact, surpassing net productions from Churchie. During the year, we also had a very successful drilling campaign, and we believe this success will provide a good base to continue our growth. We expected the production level will increase in 2009 financial year with higher oil and LPG in the production links as a result of higher contribution from the Waggamba and Silver Spring

45 areas. We have immediate plan to target 12 wells for 2008 calendar year, and at least 10 wells per year over following two years, during which time we will undertake a total drilling seismic and development program in a Surat-Bowen Basin estimated at $35 to $40 million over the period.
