INTERVIEW WITH BERNARD ROWE, MANAGING DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL GEOSCIENCE LIMITED (GSC)

“Potential Of Significant Zone Of Copper Silver And Gold”

http://www.brr.com.au/event/49672

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2008, 4:30 PM.

BRR    Good afternoon and welcome to Boardroom Radio. Today, we are speaking with Mr. Bernard Rowe, Managing Director of Global Geoscience. Thank you

10                    very much for joining us today, Bernard.

GSC    Thank you very much, Eddie. My pleasure to be back.

BRR    The latest announcement from Global Geoscience outlines developments from the Company’s Mancha Pampa Project in Peru which is located within

15                    one of the largest copper-producing provinces globally. The announcement states the Company’s geologists believe the Quillcata Prospect has the potential to contain a significant zone of copper, gold, and silver mineralization. Bernard, what work has been carried out at Mancha Pampa thus far?

20        GSC    Yes, okay. Well, our work at Mancha Pampa started with a regional targeting study that we undertook, and from that study, we identified an area that we considered to hold considerable exploration potential. We then went about exploring that area of our way of systematic stream sediment sampling program, particularly looking for copper-gold. We sampled an area of

25                    approximately 135 square kilometres with samples of about one sample per square kilometre. That survey was what led us to the copper-gold anomaly that we have identified at what we referred to as the Quillcata Prospect within the Mancha Pampa Project. From there, we have conducted detailed soil and rock chip surveys over the Quillcata Prospect. The soils are systematic sort of

30                    even coverage over the prospect area and we have then gone back and followed those up with rock ship sampling which is included by trench channel top sampling so it is a sort of continuous section sampling and grab sampling where we have had sporadic outcrop.

35        BRR    You have indicated the Company is keen to get some drill rigs on site to further test the prospect. How soon do you expect to be drilling?

GSC    Well, there are a few steps involved with drilling in this part of the world and we have completed most of those. We have done the necessary environmental studies. Those have been completed. Importantly, we have an

40                    agreement with the local community at Aquicha and that is in place and current until the end of this year. So those important pre-approvals have been done. Our application for the actual drilling permits, we have not lodged that yet whilst these results that we have recently announced have only just come to hand. So we are finetuning the locations of our drill holes before we put in

45                    the final permitting application that will allow us to proceed with drilling. We are also in the process of sourcing rigs for this area. It is an area where there is not immediate road access so we need to be looking at the mountable top drill rigs. So with all that in mind, we are anticipating being able to drill at Quillcata during this current field season, so that means within the next three months.

BRR    It sounds from the sampling you have done to date that you have been limited

5                      somewhat by the terrain; however, with the move to bring drill rigs on site, you obviously believe this project is quite prospective?

GSC    Yes, we certainly do. Just sort of, I guess, elaborating on what I have mentioned before in terms of the work that we have done, I did not discuss too much there any of those results but I am happy to do that of course, and if

10                    I could refer listeners to figure 3 in the recent announcement we made on the ASX in relation to this Quillcata prospect at Mancha Pampa, then the things that make this a very prospective project for us are that firstly we have identified the presence of a porphyry intrusive within favourable host rocks. So on figure 3, the purple is the mapped extent of the porphyry intrusive. The

15                    brown colours are the andesitic volcanics, the rocks that the porphyry is intruded into and there are favourable host rock. To the south of the brown and purple colours are the light beige colours that show younger glacial and alluvial cover. So those pale beige-coloured, loose unconsolidated rocks actually cover and mask the extension of the porphyry. So we have a

20                    porphyry that we have identified. We have also identified a large alteration zone that is associated with that porphyry and that is shown again on figure 3 with the hatching. So again that alteration zone is likely to extend underneath the area that is covered by the younger rocks.

25                    Within that large alteration zone, we have identified a quite strong copper-gold-silver anomaly in both soils and rock chip sampling. Those geochemical anomalies that we have identified, again on figure 3, are shown in terms of copper. There is a strong copper geochemical zone over an area of about 600 x about 450 metres where most of the soil samples with that zone are

30                    going above 100 ppm Cu. As shown in the red squares, there is actually a strong zone within that broader geochemical anomaly that is returning values of generally in excess of 1000 ppm Cu. The overall broader copper anomaly, the 600 x 450 metre zone, also contains a gold zone that measures about 600 metres x about 100 metres, 50 to 100 metres wide, where all of the

35                    samples are exceeding 100 ppb gold, so 0.1 g/t in soils, and we have had similar numbers in rocks, around the 0.1 g/t, but certainly zones within there where rock chips have gone up to about 4 g/t gold just in relation to the geochemical signature of this style of mineralization. If I can refer the listeners to figure 5 of our announcement where we have shown several cross

40                    sections through some Andean Porphyry Copper Deposits all at the same scale, then you can clearly see that the ore grade mineralization in those examples shown is not present at surface. There is a zone of depletion leaching above the ore grade material and so the geochemical signatures that you might expect to see over these deposits are going to be somewhat

45                    more subtle and so we consider the gold and copper values that we are getting in soil and rock chip samples. They are very strong as they stand but potentially they are representing somewhat similar to what was shown on figure 5 where we can expect the depletion zone on the surface and the ore grade material may well be at depth.

So certainly, geochemically, an alteration in the porphyry makes this a very prospective project. As I said, the Quillcata Prospect shares some characteristics with some other Andean porphyry copper deposits at this early

5                      stage, but what may exist of course most exciting perhaps is that this is a new find and therefore has had no previous testing.

BRR    Bernard, it definitely does sound promising. We thank you for your time today and look forward to speaking to you soon.

10        GSC    Very good. Thanks very much, Eddie.

BRR    That was Mr. Bernard Rowe, Managing Director of Global Geoscience. If you have any questions about this broadcast or any other broadcast, please feel free to contact us on brr@brr.com.au. I am Eddie (Inaudible) (0:08:11) and

15                    thank you for listening to Boardroom Radio.
