BRR Good morning and welcome to Boardroom Radio. Today we are speaking with Mr. John Kelly, Managing Director of Republic Gold Limited. Thanks for

RAU Thanks for having me, Eddie.
BRR John, today you have announced your results from the recent stage 1 drilling programme at Tregoora and Northcote and they have had some positive
15 indications. What are some of the highlights from these projects?
RAU Yes, some very, very positive indications. Two real highlights, Eddie. The first is that with extended mineralisation at Tunnel Hill, which is one of the prospect areas at Northcote by 350 metres which is good, we will go back and do some more drilling there. But the real highlight of this announcement
20 is the fantastic 24 metres at 8 grams, an intersection that we built at Tregoora at one of the Far North prospects. The importance of that sort of intersection just tapped the understated. Our geological team worked on a project in Central Victoria called Fosterville for many, many, many years and that is the sort of intersection that we saw many times at Fosterville but eventually
25 ended up with a sort of 3 million-ounce top resource and it is what we have been looking for. We have been there for four years and we have now hit one, so it is up to the geology team to follow this one up and hopefully we can get some more and really build some assets at this particular part of Tregoora.

BRR John, you have got some fantastic news coming out of those projects. We also see that there is some potential coming from the Whumbal West project that you have been looking at. What can you tell our listeners?
RAU Yes, sure thing, Eddie. I mean, to follow up, there are good gold intersections
35 at both Northcote and Tregoora. We will do more drilling starting very, very soon. Part of that next drilling programme will see us back at Whumbal West. At least this is what I remember, but we announced the drill results for Whumbal West late last year. It was effectively a virgin tungsten farm based on a couple of stream sediment samples that were taken 25 or 30 years ago.
40 We put 13 holes into this thing last year and hit tungsten at 11 out of 13 of the holes which caused a lot of excitement when we announced that. So we will be going back and drilling more holes at Whumbal West, a bigger programme this time around. Let us hope that we will be successful in 2008 there as we were in 2007.

RAU Yes, I am very excited and hopefully we can come back in six or eight weeks’ time and report some more positive results from Tregoora in particular and Whumbal West.
